Does Your Good School Of Motoring Teach "The Bubble"?

Fort Rucker is the primary flight-training base for Army Aviation and is home to the U.S. Army Aviation Warfighting Center and the U.S. Army Aviation Museum. Fort Rucker is often referred to as "Mother Rucker", both as an insulting pseudo-homonym, and in deference to the birth of an Army Aviator's career and his or her constant return to the post for continued training. It is common knowledge in an Army Aviation career that "Everyone returns to Mother Rucker". My first visit here would certainly prove to be a "Mother Rucker" for me!

JD Truck Training Centre Casually enough, I take a "what looks like" a planned 45 degree turn. and head toward the Chinese restaurant end of the strip shopping center. For example if one carrier offered to pay you $0.32 per mile and gave you 2200 miles per week, you actually make less than taking a job with a carrier that only pas $0.26 per mile and gives you 2900 miles per week. When it comes to driver pay look at what your NET checks will be, not your pay per mile. Ask any veteran truck driver and they will tell you trucking is all about the miles.

You have finally made it through school, and now have been hired with a company. You report to the company for orientation which will last for up to 5 days, and most company's will only give you maybe $25.00 per day for this. Some company's won't even do this. Of course the feed you lunch, and put you in a cheap motel, and provide you with a van to take you to the terminal and back to the motel.

Truck licence  began with nothing but classroom study for the first week or two. If you decide to attend driving school at a trucking company....let the propaganda begin! They won't waste any chance at promoting themselves, believe me. They will also make you feel like it is your privilege to be working for them. Get used to that. Now here's your first piece of raw truth about the industry... companies are completely and totally desperate for truck drivers. I mean DESPERATE!
